Renée L. Antieau, President & CEO

Ms. Antieau first became Certified in 1994 as a Certified Professional Coder. She began teaching the first formal class for Certification in 1996. Ms. Antieau has over 25 years of experience in Health Care. Her passion is to teach and assist her students to become Certified in the Health Care area that best fits their needs and goals. Her students' historic success rate has been incredible, with an average of 90% pass rate on the National Board Exam, on the first try.

Ms. Antieau is the founder and owner of PAHRS which is an Association for Reimbursement Education and Certification as well as PAHRS Academy which is an education facility specializing in Coding, Billing, Reimbursement & Audit Education. Our philosophy is "Reimbursement, now that's the bottom line!"

Ms. Antieau's goals are to provide the best classroom environment for learning, as well as tools, resources, and support. "When my students have met their goals, I have met mine!"



JoAnne Kelley, CPC

JoAnne has twenty plus years of experience in Medical Coding, Billing and Physician Practice Management. She has taught throughout the course of her career Medical CPT procedure and ICD-9 diagnosis coding.. Her resume includes ten years as practice manager of a large surgical group and as a Documentation Audit Specialist at a Multi-specialty physician practice. She has a solid understanding of Medical Terminology, Anatomy, Physiology, Medical Coding, Medical Records, Reimbursement and Accounts Receivable Management, as well as Operational expertise.

Barbara L. Williams,CPC,CRS

Barbara graduated from Lees-McRae College in 1971 with a degree in Science and completed a nine month internship at Roanoke Memorial, now known as Carilion. Barbara has worked in the medical field as an Administrative Supervisor and Practice Manager for forty years. She is currently the practice manager for Cave Spring Family Practice in Roanoke, Virginia. She also teaches medical coding and introduction to practice management at Virginia Western Community College. Barbara became a Certified Professional Coder in 2000 and Certified Reimbursement Specialist in 2001. She is currently the President of the local chapter of the AAPC and secretary for the Roanoke Regional Medical Group Managers Association. In her spare time Barbara loves to read, exercise and visit with her granddaughter.

Marianne Perry, CRS

Grew up in Virginia Beach, Va. and received a B.S. in Social Welfare from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1973. Began work at Allergy & Asthma Specialists, Ltd. in 1975 in the bookkeeping/insurance department and worked weekends at the front desk. Took management classes at TCC and attended seminars on all phases of medical office management, HR, payroll , coding etc. Became office manager of the Virginia Beach location of Allergy & Asthma Specialists, Ltd. in 1985 and then became Administrator for the practice in 1997. Received my CRS certification through PAHRS in 2005 and became a member of the Advisory Board in 2011. Enjoy the beach, boating, traveling, working out and spending time with my son Ed and other family and friends.

Brandi Cochran Burquett

Brandi Burgett, CPC, CRS

Of Missouri has spent the last 18 years in medical billing. She have extensive amount of experience in every aspect of the Revenue Cycle and instrumental in the appeals/denials process. She has spent a great deal of her career learning how to work with insurance companies and know what they expect in order to reimburse a medical claim.
